Today, September 25th, 2008 is the second day of the 3rd nationally-coordinated 40 Days for Life! David Bereit, the director, sent an e-mail to everyone on the list and shared that yesterday, on Day 1, we already had saved a baby!
As part of my personal effort for 40 Days for Life, I am going to try posting something related to pro-life things every day. So for Days 1 and 2, I am posting a couple videos of the testimony of an abortion survivor, Gianna Jessen. She is now 31 years old and was born alive during a saline abortion. (As a side note, I have decided that after the first daughter I have, who will be named Cecilia Rose, my next daughter will be named Gianna, after St. Gianna Molla, a mother who refused to have an abortion and sacrificed her life so that her child could live, and Gianna Jessen, an amazing witness for the pro-life movement and for Christ.) In these videos, just from earlier in September, Gianna is speaking to Australians the night before a debate on whether abortion should be legalized in Victoria, Australia.
